About SportBikePlanet

Hi, my name’s Mark…

I’m a regular guy from Australia, I follow Formula 1, I’m a gym-rat, I hold a commercial pilots licence, and I also like creating online content which I’ve done for many years.

However… despite all of the awesome experiences I’ve managed to pack into life very little comes close to that fine September day in 2020 when I took the plunge and passed the final road test to get my motorcycle licence, and to say life has never been the same is a gross understatement!

But Covid19 made finding my first bike a nightmare…

The entire planet had shut down and no new stock was arriving from anywhere… in Australia at least, people had spare time and spare cash, so every secondhand bike was being snapped up at stupid prices… but eventually I found my baby, a 2018 KRT Ninja 650, and it was, and is, absolutely epic.

Emily R.

Emily is passionate about all things two wheels, sometimes three and four if it is a classic BMW.

If she isn’t riding or planning out a build, she spends her days writing about them and illustrating them for her clients.

Emily is obsessed with all things Ducati and Bimota, craving the exotic Italian machines that were either directly designed by or heavily influenced by Massimo Tamburini.

If it isn’t something motorcycle related, she loves to spend her time badly beating around on an old guitar.

He retains many industry contacts in the paddocks of American roadracing and motocross, and aspires to ride the Trans American Trail coast to coast in the near future.
